KENYA – Masai Mara Tour Packages

Day 1: Amboseli Sopa Lodge
On arrival at JKIA airport, after clearing immigration and customs, you will be met by Africa Keys’ driver/guide. Depart by road for Amboseli Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Amboseli Sopa Lodge
Depart after breakfast for a game drive at 7 AM with picnic lunch boxes. Full day at Amboseli National Park. Enjoy picnic lunch, returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Sweetwaters Tented Camp
Depart at 0600 AM with picnic breakfast and drive to Sweetwaters Tented Camp (Ol Pejeta Conservancy), with a stopover the equator for photo-ops. Arrive at Sweetwaters Camp in time for lunch. Visit the chimpanzee orphanage and rhino sanctuary within the ranch during the afternoon game drive at 3:30 PM, returning to the camp by 6:30 PM. Dinner & overnight stay at Sweetwater’s Tented Camp.

Day 4: Ark Lodge
After early morning game drive and breakfast, check out and drive to Aberdare Country Club. Your lunch is included here. In the afternoon transfer in Hotel shuttle vehicles into the Aberdare National Park – to the Ark Lodge for a night of game viewing. Dinner and overnight stay at The Ark.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge
After breakfast, the shuttle will bring you back to Aberdare Country Club. Your guide will meet you here, and drive you to Lake Nakuru National park. Enjoy lunch at the Nakuru Sopa Lodge. Depart for a game drive at 4 PM, returning to the lodge at 1830PM for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Mara Base Camp
Depart at 0600 AM with packed breakfast for Base Camp Masai Mara. Arrive in time for lunch. Leave for the evening game drive around 3:30 PM. Return to camp before sunset by 6:30 PM. Enjoy the evening at the lodge with dinner.

Day 7: Mara Base Camp
Morning and evening game drives are included today. All meals and overnight stay at the Base Camp

Day 8: Back Home
Morning game drive is followed by a sumptuous breakfast at the camp. Check out and depart for Nairobi. Drop off at the JKI Airport for flight back home. (Only Breakfast is included today)

Day 1: Amboseli Sentrim Camp
On arrival at the JKIA airport, you will be met by our friendly guide who will escort you to your waiting vehicle. After a small briefing, depart for Amboseli with packed lunch boxes with our safari minibus and guide. Arrival at the lodge in approximately 4 hours for dinner and overnight at the Amboseli Sentrim Camp (PL, D).

Day 2: Amboseli Sentrim Camp
Morning and evening game drives. All meals and overnight stay at the Amboseli Sentrim Camp (B, L, D)

Day 3: Elementaita Sentrim Lodge
Depart with packed lunch for Elementaita after breakfast. Optional: boat ride in Naivasha, nature walk around the Lake, or visit the nearby archeological site. Dinner and overnight stay at the Elementaita Sentrim Lodge

Day 4: Mara Sentrim
After breakfast, you will depart for Masai Mara Game reserve. This is a world-renowned reserve, which stretches over 1510 sq km of open rolling grasslands, is watered by the Mara River and littered with an astonishing amount of wildlife. It is home to Africa’s famous “big five” (Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Leopard and Buffalo). Enjoy picnic lunch on the way and proceed for a game drive on arrival. Later, check in at the Mara Sentrim Camp for dinner and overnight stay

Day 5: Mara Sentrim
After breakfast, proceed on a full day game drive to search for the myriad species of game that make this reserve their home. Dinner and overnight stay at the Camp

Day 6: Nairobi
Check out and drive back to Nairobi with picnic lunchboxes for optional shopping and sightseeing. We will drop you off at the JKIA for your flight back home.

Day 01:Arrival

On arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport (morning flight), met by our representative and later transferred to Nairobi Safari Club Hotel where you will check-in and later we proceed to Nairobi National Park, an ornithological paradise starter within the city environs. Afternoon guided visit to National Museum Bird Gallery, Followed by a short bird walk at Nairobi National Museum Botanic Garden. Here we anticipate to see species like the Variable Sunbird, Bronze Sunbird and the Collard Sunbird, African Goshawk, Palm swift, Baglafetch Weaver, among others. Lunch, Dinner and Overnight stay will be at Nairobi Safari Club Hotel or similar one. (BLD)

Day 02: Nairobi – Lake Elementaita

Morning departure to Lake Elementaita arriving in the mid morning bird walk to try and identify available species like the Feral lovebird, Avocet, Klaas’ cuckoo, Glossy ibis, Black heron, Red billed Teal, Black tailed godwit among others before time for lunch at Lake Elementaita Lodge. An afternoon bird walk around the lodge environs before time for Dinner and overnight at Lake Elementaita Lodge (BLD).

Day 03: Lake Elementaita – Lake Naivasha

Lake Naivasha being close to Lake Nakuru and 65 miles from Nairobi, is freshwater Lake Naivasha. It was declared a bird sanctuary in 1967 and also supports pastoral industries of wine and flowers. During our full day field trip to Lake Naivasha, we study the birds of the region such as herons, fish eagles, ospreys, black crakes, and lily-trotters Activities include reliving the experience of Joy Adamson and Elsa while viewing “Born Free.” Lake Naivasha being on the Rift floor is home to an incredible variety of species.

Day 04: Lake Naivasha – Hell’s Gate National Park

After breakfast, a morning bird walk with the aim of viewing birds on the shores of the Lake with a few hours of relaxation before lunch. Afternoon visit to Hell’s Gate National Park, which is a breeding ground for vultures in Kenya e.g. Lammergeyer vultures we also anticipate for species like Imperial eagle, Schalow’s wheatear, Chin spot batis. Dinner & overnight tonight will be served at Lake Naivasha Lodge (BLD).

Day 05: Hell’s Gate National Park

Lake Nakuru National Park After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru National Park known as “The pink Heart Of Kenya” because of the millions of Flamingoes that cover the lake with pink shine. Afternoon game/bird viewing, dinner and overnight stay will be at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day 06: Lake Nakuru National Park

Today we will spend the whole day bird watching at the park and if lucky enough we have the chance to see the shy cat “the Leopard” mostly seen in this park before returning for lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon we have some time to relax before embarking on our late afternoon game drive to try and capture what was not seen during the day before the dusk engulf us.

Day 07: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara Adventure

Soon after breakfast, drive across the floor of the Great Rift Valley the longest Rift in the crust of the Earth to Masai Mara Game Reserve the unspoiled Savannah . Masai Mara is actually the northern portion of the Great Plains ecosystem in the neighbouring Tanzania called Serengeti. It is a home to the “big five” lion, buffalo, rhino, leopard and elephant as well cheetah, zebra, giraffe and vast herds of plain antelope and numerous and other wildlife. Our accommodation for the nights will be at one of the excellent lodge Mara Sopa Lodge. Sopa is a Masai word meaning welcome and indeed this is a tradition which has be well adopted by the lodge to all guest. Set in the Oloolaimutia valley the lodge blends in the perfectly with its surrounding hillside landscape. After lunch and some time to relax and perhaps take a dip in the pool, you will depart with your driver guide for an afternoon game drive in search of the big five. As sun starts to edge dip into the horizon it will be perfect time to photograph the beautiful Mara rolling plains. Don’t forget this is the right time to spot the shy leopard. Dinner & overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge (BLD).

Day 08: Masai Mara

An early morning birding cum game drive after breakfast will be our perfect start of another unforgettable and memorable birding days in Africa . With picnic lunch en-route you spend your day in Mara Plains trying to identify and record the over 450 species record in this reserve. All meals and Overnight tonight will be served at, Mara Sopa Lodge (BLD).

Day 09: Masai Mara – Nairobi – Fly

After breakfast, we drive back to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch at Toona Tree Restaurant where you can enjoy some good Italian food, Check-in to a day room at Nairobi hotel. Farewell dinner Later early in the evening, will be hosted by our company at the world famous Carnivore Restaurant considered “Africa’s greatest eating experience” (if you love barbecue it doesn’t get better than this), and home to the “Simba Saloon” one of the cities most popular night clubs. Thereafter you will be transferred to the airport in time for your International departure flight.


CAMPING TRIP FOR THE YOUNG AND THE NOT-SO-FAINT-HEARTED!

Day 1&2:

stay at parklands sports club on full board. Sightseeing of Nairobi as given earlier including one half day school trip.

DAY 3: Nairobi to Sagana

We will come and pick you up from your hotel at 0700hrs and head out by 0730hrs. Before leaving Nbo, we will stop over by a convenience store so that you may buy your drinking water and desired snacks. We should arrive in Sagana by mid morning, as soon as will have set up camp, you will head out for white water rafting. You will be served with a picnic lunch at camp or by the river (as desired) and in the evening you will have dinner.

DAY 4: Sagana to Nakuru via Nyeri

The day starts with an early wake up call, after a hearty breakfast we will decamp and head out for Nakuru by 0730hrs. Enroute, will stop over in Nyeri at Jim Corbett’s grave and Baden Powell’s cottage after which we will proceed with our safari. Pending on our time schedule on the day, we will stop over at the Thompson Falls in Nyahururu for a picnic lunch. After our lunch we will leave for Nakuru and should arrive at the park by mid afternoon. We will set up camp and straight away head out for an evening game drive and head out to the Lake shore so that you can see the fabulous pink Flamingos. We will return to camp at 1830hrs for evening tea and dinner.

DAY 5: Nakuru to Naivasha

We start the day off early with a morning game drive at 0630hrs. We will return to camp at 0930hrs for breakfast. During the game drive,our prime concern will be to seek out Rhinos, as Lake Nakuru is a renowned Rhino Sanctuary. We will also try to see out the wild cats. After breakfast, we will decamp and head out to Naivasha. Enroute, we will stop over in Naivasha town, in case you wish to buy anything here. We will then proceed to either a educational visit to a flower farm after which we will have a picnic lunch. After lunch we will proceed to the camp (which is on the shores of Lake Naivasha) for the night. In the late afternoon if you wish, you may go for a leisure walk to the lakeshore.

DAY 6: Naivasha to Mara

After breakfast, we will pack up and depart for Maasai Mara. Enroute, we will make a stop over at a town called â?oMai Mahiuâ?�, where you could have a little stretch and break before we head out across the floor of the Rift Valley to Narok town. This is the last major town that we will cross before heading out into the Mara. Pending on the time that we leave for Mara and the number of breaks that we have enroute, we should be in the Mara by early afternoon. We will have a game drive enroute, as we head towards camp where we will have a late lunch. After setting up camp and freshening up, we will head out for an evening game drive at 1600hrs to return to camp at 1830 for some evening tea and dinner.

DAY 8: Mara, whole day game drive

We start off the day early with a wake up call at 0600hrs. After a quick cup of tea, we depart for our early morning game drive at 0630hrs to seek out the big cats. We will return to camp at 0930hrsfor breakfast. After freshening up, we will depart towards late morning to head to a traditional Maasai village, where you will have a chance to get an insight into their lifestyle. After visiting the village, we will proceed for a picnic lunch on the Mara River and a whole dayâ?Ts game drive. We will return to camp at 1830hrs for tea and followed by dinner. Later in the night you will be entertained with Maasai traditional dances by the campfire.

DAY 9: Mara to Nairobi

After breakfast, we will pack up and head out of the camp. You will have a game drive enroute to the park gate and we will then head back to Nairobi with a short stop over in Narok. In Mai Mahiu� town, we will stop over once again for a picnic lunch and then head back int Nairobi to wind up a camping safari well spent. We will then drop you off to the airport for your flight back home.

CAMPING TRIP FOR THE YOUNG AND THE NOT-SO-FAINT-HEARTED!

Day 1:

Arrival at JKIA. Transfer to Windsor Country Club. Overnight.

Day2:

Windsor has a very pretty golf course. Play a game of golf today. Local sightseeing /shopping can be arranged, at an additional cost, if requested.

Day3:

Drive to Mount Kenya Safari club after breakfast. A beautiful 9 hole golf course awaits you here, at the foot of Mount Kenya. Enjoy a round of golf in the afternoon.

Day4:

Drive via Thomson’s Falls to Great Rift Valley Lodge. Arrive in time for lunch. Yet another beautiful golf course with views of the Lake Naivasha.

Day5:

Enjoy a game of golf and relax, or opt for a boat ride on the lake to view the birdlife and hippos. You could also visit the Elsamere and / or walk with animals on the Cresent Island.

Day6:

After an early breakfast, drive to Masai Mara Game Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch. Evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day7:

Whole day game drive. Experience the great Savannah of Africa, and enjoy the splendour of wild life that Kenya has to offer. Why not go for a balloon safari at an additional cost.

Day8:

After an early morning game drive, you drive back to Nairobi with packed breakfast. Transfer to JKIA for your flight to Mombasa. On arrival, you will be transferred to Leisure Lodge in the South Coast.

Day9:

Relax and enjoy the beach, the sun and the warm Indian Ocean.

Day10:

Enjoy a game of golf at the 18 hole golf course Leisure Lodge boasts of.

Day11:

Your special golfing holiday in the romantic Kenya comes to an end today. We will transfer you to the Moi Intl airport after breakfast, for your flight to Nairobi, and onwards. (All golf games will be fixed ahead of time, so that you have your reserved time slots)
